BEFORE & AFTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CARE The YMCA School Age Care Curriculum is centered around the YMCA mission and program objectives. The YMCA mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. YMCA programs, such as School Age Child Care are the tools YMCA’s use to help participants experience the YMCA mission. Staff are well trained and exemplify the five character developments; caring, honesty, respect, faith and responsibility. The School Age Child Care program is open to children in Kindergarten through 5th grade at participating Manatee County Elementary Schools.
