Family Time

"Family Day" is Monday, Sept. 26th! Family Day is a national initiative to educate parents about family dinners as an effective way to keep kids substance free. These days families are busy, kids are active and time together is precious but sometimes hard to do. Especially families with teens! Mark your calendar and plan a family day - cookout together, go to dinner at your favorite restaurant together, make a special dinner together! Don't forget to tell the kids in advance - everyone must be in attendance!

Family Night - Movie Night

The branches throughout the year offer "Family Night" at the Y! It's FREE to members and is a great time for the whole family while meeting other members. Dates and times of "Family Time Events" will be posted at the branch. Special events coming soon!

Birthday Parties

We offer a fun atmosphere for you to host your child's birthday party. You decide how you want to split your time for games, activities, and swimming. Available at the Parrish Branch, Bradenton Branch and Lakewood Ranch Branch.

Game Room

Available at the Bradenton Branch and Parrish Branch. Activities such as foosball and air hockey. Gaming systems include Wii, Play Station 3 and XBox.

Adventure Guides

REGISTRATION ROUND UP IS SEPT, 17TH. Creating unforgettable lifetime of memories with your kids. The YMCA Adventure Guides program offers activities for dads/single mothers and their son/daughters. Kids Night Out

Kids ages 4-10 will have a great time doing a variety of activities while parents enjoy a night on the town. Activities will consist of arts and crafts, gym fun and a snack will be provided.

Kids Zone

Babysitting for members and non-members participating in a program or working out for ages 3 months to 6 years (6 year olds have the option of going into the game room). Click here for additional information!

Manatee Moms and Dads Club

Available to infants through preschool at the Bradenton Branch Y. This is a drop in play group for children and parents. Make new friends! Will run on Wednesdays 10:30-12noon through May. Last day for program will be Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Kindergarten through 6th grade. Look for this program to return once school is back in session!
