Current Lakewood Ranch Branch Newsletter

The Lakewood Ranch Branch has been in operation for over 3 years offering a variety of programs from swimming, aerobics, sports, cycling and more. The facility has a fitness center, multi-purpose room for group exercise classes, indoor gymnasium, kid zone, locker rooms and an outdoor pavilion.

Family members receive FREE youth sports, swim lessons and baby sitting (up to 2hrs. per day while parents workout).

Letter from the Executive Branch Director, Scott Morin:

2008 is an exciting year for our branch.  March 23rd marked our 5 year anniversary. 

The year started out great.  In the first quarter 596 new members joined our YMCA, bringing our total to 2278 memberships.  Welcome new members! 

In 2009 we plan to undergo a facility expansion.  A new Teen Center, Kids Zone, Group Cycling Room, Aerobic/Dance studio, a much larger fitness center and so much more. To ensure the success of our plan, we are undertaking an ambitious capital campaign to raise $600,000 from our community, area businesses, board of directors and members.  Giving opportunities at all levels will be available.  Look for more details to follow.
