The Lakewood Ranch YMCA Wave Runners Swim Team is the largest swim team in Manatee County!
The program consists of five practice levels to accommodate swimmers of all ages and abilities and is available year round. All swimmers must tryout prior to joining the team and must be full-privileged Manatee County YMCA members to participate.
Tryouts are every Tuesday at 5:45PM at the Lakewood Ranch YMCA pool.

This YMCA swim team competes in the Suncoast League in the summer. It is a developmental league in which everyone completes and has a great time. So if you love to swim and compete in a fun and non-threatening environment, this team is for you. We will compete in multiple meets and the league championship meet in July.

Fee:
Fees are monthly bankdraft rates.
Ripple Level: $20.00
Splash Level: $30.00
Waves Level: $40.00
Junior/Senior Level II: $50.00
Junior/Senior Level I: $75.00
Must be a Manatee County-Wide member to participate.
USA membership is $56.00 per year (due each September).

Bradenton Branch:
Practice on Monday/Wednesday. Ages 6-8 from 6:30 - 7:15 pm and ages 9 and up 7:15 - 8:15 pm
South Branch:
Practice Monday/Wednesday 6:00-7:30pm

Members - $90.00, All Others - $170.00

Love to swim? This is designed for anyone who would like to improve stroke techniques, endurance in preparation of joining or continuing on the Barracudas Swim Team in the Spring/Summer 2011 season. Swimming googles are highly recommended. Instructors will be Bill Ackles and Debra Mortonson. |

Ages: 8 and under must be able to swim 1 length of the pool. Ages 9 and older must be able to swim 2 lengths of the pool.
Registration Begins: August 30th.
Season / Program Dates:
Season will run Sept. 13th through Nov. 17th. Practice schedule is Monday and Wednesday; Ages 5-8yrs. 6:30pm-7:15pm and Ages 9 and up, 7:15pm-8:15pm
Fee: Members - $50.00, All Others - $90.00 |
