Need a fun yet safe place for your middle school child to hang out after school? Your pre teen will have loads of fun in the YMCA game room and Teen Center.
Ages:

Season / Program Dates:
When school is in session on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays after school.

Members - Free
All Others - $2.00 per day

The YMCA offers recreational and educational programs at select middle schools across Manatee County.
Activites include tutoring/homework help, indoor & outdoor sports, TSA, science club, book club, cooking, FCAT prep and many more (activities vary by location).

PRINE ELEMENTARY - FRIDAY ONLY SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM
The Manatee County YMCA School Age Child Care Program offers children the opportunity to experience extracurricular activites while learning new skills and building relationships in an education environment. Activities include homework time, group games, sports, arts & crafts, character development and more.
HELD:
Friday afternoons - school dismissal until 6pm, open to participants of Prine Elementary 21st Century Program only. Held in the cafeteria.
FEE & REGISTRATION:
$25.00 registration fee per family/per school year, $8.00 per student, per day. Pre-registration and
pre-pament required on a monthly basis.

(Exception: Lincoln & Johnson programs are FREE due to 21st Century partnership). Even though registration is not available online, weekly fees may be paid online.

This morning program is to help out parents who have young teenagers to have a place for them to go prior to school beginning each day. Your child will have fun playing ball in the gym, hanging in the Teen Center and more! |

This is a before and after school program for Moody Elementary students. Provided by and held at the Bradenton Branch YMCA.
The program is designed to build healthy spirit, mind, and body by having your child participate in a variety of programs. These programs include: youth sports, arts and crafts, fit kids & yoga classes, science & nature, swimming, karate, tutoring/homework time, cooking, dance, tumbling and more! Children who attend the program receive Wednesday early out day at no additional charge ($8.00/day for non-participants to attend Wednesdays only). Register at the Bradenton Branch YMCA

The Wednesday After School Program is an extension of the Before and After School Program and offers an afternoon of curriculum based on education, recreation, arts, and sports. The program is offered on-site at Bayshore, Daughtrey, Freedom, Prine and Stewart Elementary Schools. Moody Elementary students are served at the Bradenton Branch location, please refer to “YMCA Academy” for more details.
