12 Weeks to a NEW You

FREE TO MEMBERS - This coaching program will set you up on the path to a healthier lifestyle and a “new you”! Participants will be assigned a wellness coach to assist them in setting up an exercise program, register for Activtrax (an online nutritional tool and food journal) and help each participant set and obtain goals to find their way to their own personalized level of wellness.  Complete the program and receive a Y T-Shirt!  Members only! Join the Y and get started!!

    MEASURABLE PROGRESS
    UNLIMITED SUPPORT

    The Manatee YMCA is proud to introduce the CDC and AMA endorsed YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program.  Have you been diagnosed with pre-diabetes? Are you 18yrs. or older? Are you overweight (BMI>25)?  This program may be just what you need!  It is held at the Bradenton Branch YMCA, 3805 59th Street West, Bradenton. If interested in joining the program, download our Program Assessment Application, complete and return to Jackie McMahon at the Bradenton Branch YMCA.  Call 798-9622 ext. 405 if you need more information. All applicants will receive a one week pass to utilize the YMCA facilities and programs while being assessed by our Certificated Diabetes Coach. You do not need to be a YMCA member but we do have an amazing option to join while participating in the program. FLORIDA BLUE MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM.

    Functional Movement Screening

    Identify limitations and asymmetries in 7 fundamental movement patterns. Certified personal trainer will complete assessment and corrective daily exercises will be e-mailed.
